  • If I am not Catholic, can I still come to Mass?

    Yes! All are welcome to attend Mass at Mary, Mother of the Church. We hope you will come and join our loving family for this special time. 


    We believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist. Therefore, preparation is required to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion. If you are not prepared to receive Jesus, you are invited to receive a blessing from the priest by coming forward in the Communion line with your arms crossed.   • Where can I find out more about what’s going on?

    The bulletin is the best way to get information on everything that is going on at Mary, Mother of the Church. Also, the calendar will help with dates and times of scheduled events. 

  • What are the expectations after joining the parish?

    As members of Mary, Mother of the Church parish, we ask that you keep the commitment to worship on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation as often as possible. 


    Each one of us is called to grow in holiness. To assist you in this journey, you are invited to attend weekday Mass, enroll in various adult learning opportunities, explore formation for your children, and participate in various social activities. 


    You may also consider serving in a liturgical ministry role, assisting at one of our many events, or joining a club.


    We hope you will find a meaningful opportunity to become an active and vibrant member of our parish family. 

  • What is worship like at MMOC?

    At Mary, Mother of the Church, we focus on the mission of Jesus Christ, to make disciples as a family in faith. This is a universal call to all Christians. We realize the Catholic church is diverse in our traditions, and we welcome all who are seeking to belong to visit us to experience our worship and our parish family. 

  • Will I fit in at MMOC?

    We are dedicated to hospitality and a sense of family at Mary, Mother of the Church. We welcome you as the unique person God has created you to be. Together, we all strive to become fully alive in who we are to God, in worship, formation, and faith sharing.

  • Do you provide child care during Mass?

    We are a loving family of faith who embraces families with children of all ages in our worship space. However, if your children need a break, we have a Quiet Room in the church's narthex (near the main entrance). 

  • Where should I park?

    Parking is available on the west side of the campus; the north side parking lot has reserved disabled person parking, street parking is available, and the lot on the east side of the campus - is known as the Trane parking lot.

  • Is there a wheelchair accessible entrance?

    Yes, while all of our entrances are accessible to disable people, reserved parking is available at the northeast entrance of the church. Additionally, pews near the front of the church are specially spaced to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. 

  • What should I wear?

    We welcome you to Mass as you are. When possible, we encourage clothing to be modest because of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is a sacred celebration of our Faith.

  • Am I expected to put money in the offering?

    As a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, you will receive information on contributing to the needs of the parish as well as other needs in the diocese and world. There is no minimum requirement, and we ask that you give what you can. Your financial support is vital to our mission, and it is greatly appreciated.
