Visit Sr. Kathy's page. In 2008, Sr. Kathy was named the MMOC Woman of the Year.  In 2012 she was named a recipient of the Iverson Freking Award by Bethany St. Joseph Corp.

Please pray for this woman who does so much for our parish members who tend to be out of sight: the elderly, sick, lonely, grieving, frail, and marginal. Kathy is our reminder that those we don't see are still sisters and brothers in our parish family. Let our prayer include them, too.

We are called to use every gift, every tool to continue Christ's work. Today, the web and social media have to be part of how we reach out. We use the parish app, two websites, our blog, and Facebook. Joseph produces those communication channels and administers the parish email system. In November 2009 and June 2020 he was named MMOC Man of the Year.

In addition to her service to MMOC Parish, Therese also serves as Chaplain at the Bethany St. Joseph Care Center and Onalaska Care Center. In all three settings she is treasured for her gentle, inspiring presence. In November 2012, Therese was named MMOC Woman of the Year. She is also active as a musician with the La Crosse Concert Band.

In November 2013, Dave was named MMOC Man of the Year. Our pastor praised and thanked Dave for guiding the parish through the challenges of debt, budgetary shortfalls and an aging set of buildings. Dave is also treasury manager with Kwik Trip. He and Laura, parents of two, have been members of our parish since they were married here in 1990.

Tammy and her husband, David, joined MMOC after moving to La Crosse from Middleton, WI, in 2017. They have five adult children and are facilitators for FOCUS and Called and Gifted at the parish and enjoy providing hospitality after Mass on Sundays.
