Sacred Music
Music is essential to our worship at MMOC. Many of us are active in music, and we are fortunate to enjoy so much talent and enthusiasm. Visitors have often remarked that our congregation is also particularly strong in actively participating in singing. Cantors and Musicians lead the assembly in singing at most of our Masses.
We have a full pipe organ in the choir loft and a baby grand piano in the sanctuary.
The New Life Choir

accompanied by organ for all funerals at our church. We also sing
two Sunday Masses during the school year. Two or three times
per year we sing at the
televised Mass. We rehearse once per month, usually on a weekday morning.
Our Sunday Choir welcomes adults, teens, and
children. We are
accompanied by piano, violin, guitar, flute, and percussion. We sing at
two Masses per month during the school year and on other special occasions. We
rehearse weekly on Tuesday evenings.
