Chicken Que set for Thursday, Sept 12

Tickets will soon be on sale for "the mother of all chicken ques." $12 gets a dinner home-made fresh and tasty by MMOC volunteers, nothing canned or catered:

●half chicken charcoal-grilled to perfection and swathed in a savory sauce
●baked potato served with butter and sour cream
●tender beans slow-roasted in a home-made sauce of tomato, onion, and bacon
●coleslaw in a clear, sweet, tangy dressing
●dinner roll and amenities

We will be serving from 11:00a to 6:00p. Buy your tickets at Mass on the weekend, or in the parish office T-F 8-3. This Chicken Que usually sells out by noon, so to avoid disappointment, please secure your tickets early. To reserve tickets, call 608-518-6145 or email chickenque@mmoclacrosse.org.  Tickets and drive-up service will be in the west parking lot; enter at 20th & Weston➚ Streets and exit onto Horton Street. To volunteer to work at this Chicken Que, please sign up in the gathering space.

ALPHA Program starts September 10

Jesus’ first words in his public ministry were “Come and See”. We invite you to bring your friends, family, co-workers or anyone else who wants to explore the meaning of life and the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. ALPHA is a series of interactive sessions that will take place on Tuesdays from September 10 - November 19 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Dinner is provided each night! There are 11 sessions in the Parish Hall and a weekend away October 25-26. There is no cost. To sign up please email alpha@mmoclacrosse.org.

Summer Opportunities for Youth

Exciting opportunities are opening up for youth who participate in the Youth Faith Formation program in our area. Shrines of Italy Pilgrimage set for Fall 2025

We are assembling a pilgimage to key shrines in Italy for Fall 2025. We thank Linda Schwartz for leadership in pulling all the details together. You'll find the specifics in a flyer (PDF) that includes the itinerary and booking details. Spiritual Director for this trip will be Fr. Konopa.

Please Let Us Know When Someone is in Hospital

When you or someone you love is in hospital, we would visit you, pray with you, and bring you the sacraments. However, due to privacy regulations, hospitals will not inform us when one of our parish family is in care. Please ask someone to call us at 788-5483, ext. 1. Thank you.

Diocese of La Crosse Guidelines for Reporting Instances of Child Abuse

The Diocese of La Crosse, through its policies and procedures➚, seeks to provide a prompt, appropriate and compassionate response to reporters of sexual abuse of a child by any diocesan agent (bishop, priest, deacon, employee, religious, vendor or volunteer). Anyone wishing to make a report of an allegation of sexual abuse should send that report to Ms. Teresa Brown, Complaint Intake Agent, at the Diocese of La Crosse, P.O. Box 4004, La Crosse, WI 54602-4004. Alternatively, you can contact Ms. Brown at 608.791.0179 or intakeagent@diolc.org. The reporting form is available through the Diocese of La Crosse Office of Safe Environment or on the diocesan website at: diolc.org/safeenvironment/reporting➚. Individuals are also encouraged to take their reports directly to civil authorities. Copies of the diocesan policy are available through your local parish and on the diocesan website➚.
