Mary, Mother of the Church Parish ("MMOC") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Statement of Privacy and Accessibility applies to the MMOC website and governs data collection and usage. By using the MMOC website, you consent to the practices described in this statement.

 

Herein, the term "MMOC website" covers both the full website at mmoclacrosse.org and the limited site for mobile devices at mmoc.mobi.

Collection of your Personal Information

The MMOC website does not collect any personally identifiable information nor anonymous demographic information about visitors.

The MMOC website does contain hyperlinks to websites owned and operated by other organizations. MMOC encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites linked to from MMOC so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. MMOC is not responsible for the privacy statements, data-collection practices, or other content on websites outside of the MMOC website.

Connection to Other Online Systems

The MMOC online scheduling system for lay ministers is separate from the MMOC website.  The online scheduling system is administered by Rotunda Software, Inc.  If you are a lay minister at MMOC, your name, phone number and email address are stored on a server at Rotunda.  That information is available to other registered lay ministers at MMOC.  Your information is visible only to other MMOC volunteers who are properly logged in.  Your information is presented to other volunteers through an encrypted (https) channel.

Use of Cookies

A "cookie" is a text file that is placed on your computer when you visit a website.

There is only one part of the MMOC website that uses cookies.  If you participate in one of our online surveys, the host (PollDaddy.com) will place a cookie on your computer to record that you have voted. The purpose for this is to prevent repeat voting.

Other than in PollDaddy surveys, the MMOC website does not use cookies.

The MMOC website does contain hyperlinks to websites owned and operated by other organizations. MMOC is not responsible for any use of cookies by websites outside of the MMOC website.

Accessibility

It is our aim to be a welcoming community both in person and online. The MMOC website is designed and intended to be as accessible as possible.  If you or someone you know runs into any problem while visiting this website, please call the parish office or contact the webmaster. People use a wide variety of computer equipment to visit websites. We try to make this website as flexible and as widely compatible as possible. If you see anything on this website that seems odd, please let us know.
